Olay Natural White All in one Fairness Day Cream SPF 24

Today i am going to review Olay Natural White All in one Fairness Day cream.

Price : 99/- for 20gm.

Company Claims :

Contains Olay’s Triple Vitamin System to nourish skin with the essential vitamins – B3, Pro-B5 and E to moisturise, protect and reduce the appearance of dark spots and dullness for a healthy-looking natural fairness that glows from within. 

Recommended for people with Dry to Combination skin type.

My Experience :

Olay Natural White All in One Fairness day Cream comes in a sleek tube, the amount of required cream can be squeezed out easily. The white cream is in light consistency. I bought this cream last year (as an SA insisted me to try it) at December and used it continuously for 3 weeks and found out that, the moment I apply it on my face it gives a nice, dewy look with a mild fresh floral fragrance – like all other Olay products which I love it!  And when I massaged it on my face, it completely got absorbed. However, it gets greasy after 3 hours of application on my combination skin (which tends to get dry during winter season) the whole t-zone gets oily.

However, it does provide UV protection with SPF 24 which means a total protection of 3 hours and 20 minutes which is good enough for a normal day. But I observed that, the moment you sweat and wipe it out your skin gets naked under direct sunlight. So, I would advise everyone, even if you apply this make sure that you had put your sunblock on, so that your skin would remain protected even if you wipe your sweat away.

Even after using it for a month, I didn’t observe any changes in my skin i.e. I did not get fair or even the slightest sign of fairness was not observed. It contains parabens, which is a huge turn off. The whole list of ingredients is not mentioned which scared me even more. Since it gets oily for my combination skin, its a big NO!! NO!! for oily skinned beauties. Dry skinned beauties may try this, as it would suit them.

Pros of the Product :

1. It is reasonably priced.
2. It is available everywhere.
3. It gives UV protection with SPF 24.
4. The cream consistency is light and gets easily absorbed into the skin.
5. It has got a very pleasant mild fragrance which everybody would love it.

Cons of the Product :

1. It did not make any change to my complexion, even if I used it regularly, twice a day till a month.
2. It makes my skin greasy 3 hours post application.
3. It contains parabens.
4. Oily skinned beauties should keep this at bay. However, dry skinned beauties would love it!
5. Though it provides protection from UV rays, it doesn’t cover the whole spectrum unlike the sunblocks and it gets wiped away leaving your skin naked under the sun.

Final Verdict : Olay Natural White All in One Fairness Day Cream is a light, non-greasy cream which gets absorbed easily leaving a fresh dewy look to your face. It also contains SPF 24 which protects skin from UV rays. However, the fairness claim comes as a false one, as it did not cause any change in my complexion, it even makes my skin greasy after 3 hours post application. It also contains parabens, which is a major tun off.
