Today I am going to review Jovees Face Massage Cream – Wheat Germ with Vitamin – E

Company Claims :

Jovees Face Massage Cream contains precious herbs alongwith Vitamin-E that restores a smooth radiance & collagen elasticity to the skin. An extremely effective massage cream which helps in cell renewal process, improves skin’s firmness, leaving skin radiant & luminous.

Method of Use :

Apply Jovees Face Massage Cream on face and neck. Gently massage for 15-20 minutes using upward and outward strokes. Leave on for 5 minutes. Remove with moist cotton or rinse thoroughly with water.

Active Ingredients : Wheat germ, Almond, Avocado, Vitamin – E.

My Experience :

I bought this cream last year at the month of October(I don’t remember the exact date). I bought it as I needed a massage cream for my face and during winter season, my skin gets in dry phase– which means, I need creams instead of gels to moisturise and hydrate my skin, especially massage creams. I massage my face once a week during winter season after cleansing and scrubbing my face, and then I follow up with a soothing face pack.

Well, Jovees Face Massage Cream comes in a big, white jar with whopping 350gms. It comes with a screw cap. To use the product, you need to dip in your fingers or else you can use spatula for that. The cream is in white consistency and the aroma is heavenly! The aroma reminds me of Wheat Germ oil.. you need to take the required amount of cream according to your skin’s need i.e. if you have combination skin type, you would need lesser cream than someone having dry skin. You should check your skin type before massaging any cream/gel into your skin as Oily skinned beauties should use Facial Massage Gel, Combination skinned beauties should use Facial Massage Gel during Summer season and Facial Massage Cream during Winter Season but Dry skinned beauties should stick to Facial Massage Creams only as they tend to have dry skin throughout the year.

Coming to the cream, I use the required amount of cream after cleansing and exfoliating my face and massage it using upward and outward strokes(as mentioned in directions). Upward and outward strokes are always used while massaging cream/gel in our face as these movements result in making our face firm and tight and the opposite movements would result in making our facial skin loose and saggy. I massage this cream for 15 minutes and leave it on for another 5 minutes on my face and neck and after that, I wipe it with cotton pads moistened with rose water and then follow up with a home-made face pack. After wiping out I observed that my skin was glowing. I used to use a different massage cream before and had not noticed any changes in my skin but with Jovees Face Massage Cream I observed that my skin tone got more even. So I included it in my daily massage routine. Though not drastically but slowly it did improve my skin tone and a slight radiant glow was observed in my skin. I am completely loving it! But the problem is that I cannot use it during Summer or Rainy seasons as my skin tends to be in oily phase and I got Lotus Herbals AloeHydra Gel for that.

This cream seems to get absorbed quickly when you apply the first layer on your face but eventually when you start massaging, you will notice that it provides a perfect base for massage. The only thing that I observed that, with regular massage my skin got luminous. But when summer commenced and I stopped using it, my skin came back to its normal condition after a week of discontinuation. It doesn’t work in long run. However, you can use it for your facial massage without any hesitation as it has got no side effects.

Pros of the Product :

1. So far, this is the best massage cream that I’d ever used.
2. Pleasant aroma of wheat germ.
3. Provides a perfect base for facial massage.
4. My skin tone got even on regular massage.
5. It is not tested on animals.
6. Consists of essential natural ingredients which would enhance your skin.

Cons of the Product :

1. It doesn’t work in the long run as after I stopped using it my skin came back to its normal condition.
2. It is intended only for combination and dry skin type and not for oily skin.

Apart from these, I don’t find any cons associated with it.

Final Verdict : Jovees Face Massage Cream is the best massage cream that I’d used so far! Its priced reasonably and the quantity and quality that it offers is worth more than the price. You can use it for your regular facial massage and you can include it in your facial step i.e. the massage part(after cleansing and exfoliating) as the goodness of  Wheat germ, Almond, Avocado & Vitamin – E clearly works on your skin giving you a smooth, supple and radiant skin. I would recommend this to combination and dry skinned beauties!
