Today I am going to review the best facial mist that I had used till now, its Auravedic Pure Calming Face Mist.
Price: 200/- for 100ml
Company Claims: A luxurious daily hydrating mist with pure plant extracts, anti-oxidants and sunscreens to help protect against free radical damage, brighten & even the complexion, leaving it radiant and glowing.
Free of Parabens, SLS, Harmful Chemicals and Colors.
Due to high concentration of natural extracts, essential oils and floral waters – this product may not be suitable for all skin types.
My Experience:
I had a great inclination towards facial mists when summer season approached as facial mists really help in keeping your face fresh and hydrated. Especially when you are travelling – facial mists are of great help. I made my own facial mist, which was kind of sticky and I didn’t like it much!! Then I started buying facial mists for myself. It didn’t get absorbed fast, which irritated me a bit!
Well, Auravedic Pure Calming Face Mistcomes in a transparent bottle with a spray/pump dispenser. It is completely hygienic to use and the pump dispenser sprays required amount of the mist on the face. The color of this mist is yellow. It has got a very good blend of essential oils which are good for the skin. It gets absorbed within few seconds, leaving your face – fresh and hydrated and it never broke me out! I just loveeeeeee this product! It is priced reasonably, I’ll keep on repurchasing it till I find a mist, atleast near to this. The moment I spray it on my face, it gives a cooling sensation alongwith a calming effect! I really loved this attribute of the product. I feel completely relaxed whenever I spray it on my face. I usually use it at morning, noon, evening (after coming from outside, after cleansing my face) and at night (before sleeping).
The best part is that, it instantly makes your face supple and soft! And when sprayed at night, you would wake up fresh and supple at morning! It wakes my skin and makes it plumpy! He he love that plumping effect. My face doesn’t get oily or sticky, even after I sweat a lot! However, there is a minute con with this product i.e. the presence of “Phenoxy Ethanol” which causes extreme irritation/stings to eyes and people with sensitive skin may find it burning. Actually “Phenoxyethanol” is used as a preservative instead of parabens. However, if they used less than 1%, then its safe for skin as it acts as a disinfectant/antiseptic and has no side effects.
It is only available online, I didn’t find it in any of the local stores. May be other big stores would have got its stock.(May be!)

- It makes my skin super soft and plumpy.
- Can be used anytime and in any season.
- Packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
Cons of the Product:
- It is available only online.
- The presence of Phenoxyethanol makes it unsuitable for sensitive skin.
Final Verdict: Auravedic Pure Calming Face Mist is one of the best face mists I had ever used. It makes my skin super soft and plumpy instantly! It has the perfect blend of essential oils and gets absorbed within few seconds! Overall, its an amazing product. I’d recommend this to everyone, except sensitive skin beauties!!
